We have been talking about this for awhile at home. This is pretty amazing, if you read it through.

December 2003

It’s not all about sports. There’s more to Pete than meets the eye. Although you might see photos of me playing sports or hear about my school or work here, this is also a platform for me to discuss a disease which is important to me and my family, Tay-Sachs. My cousin, Rachaeli, was diagnosed with Tay-Sachs around the time she was one year old. This disease is incurable and is always fatal during childhood. Though tremendous strides have been made since she was born there is much more research to be done. I have links on this website for you to gain more knowledge about Tay-Sachs, and my family and I hope there will be a cure soon.

Please visit projectshui.com and rachaeli.com. You will find many links from those sites.

I’m a lefty-batting, righty-throwing catcher, a running back and linebacker in football, and a junior at LHS. I also write about sports for the school newspaper. In my spare time I’m doing speed and agility training at Twin River Physical Therapy, I work part-time at Walgreens, and I’m ready for whatever comes my way. Bring it on…. and watchpeteplay.
